Hi guys,

Last week I flew to Australia with my family. We had great time over in Melbourne. Went over for a wedding but as I was in the line I was busy right from the time we landed and had no time to do any spotting. We flew Premium on the Air New Zealand 777-300. Luckily the plane still had the "space" seats as Air New Zealand are currently phasing these out and been replaced with an upgrade version of an econ seat.

On our return to New Zealand, we flew business on Emirates. The Emirates lounge was truly a great experience. All you can eat gourmet breakfast as well as top shelf drinks. Even had a hot shower due to flight delays. When we boarded the plane, we had complimentary wine. When we were in the air we had another breakfast which to date is by far the best on flight meal. The service on the flight was truly great. They treated my son Aiden like a king, even getting his bed ready when they he was getting sleepy. As soon as he was out thats when Pam and I hit the on board bar. Top shelf drinks it was and even better... FREE. I had couple before hitting the sack. All an all a great flight and Emirates really does take the flying experience to new levels. My new favorite airliner.

Jason,

Looked like a pretty comfy ride on both airlines. And the US legacies still wonder why folks prefer the ME3. I have no idea why. [biggrin]
