Here it is. Mixed emotions if I'm honest, and I am curious to hear your thoughts.

Boeing 747-8i

They really should have kept the yellow in it in some form, it may be smart and modern but it is also bland and won't stand out much against a grey sky

Yellow is the color that makes the brand pop in the middle of the sky. I heard there would be a ceremony on Feb 7th, when the official new livery was announced. I hope this would be a demo only!

Now if they had done the new EasyJet livery style in blue with a white logo that would have been something a bit special, but no doubt it was much cheaper to just re-do the tail in blue.

Do not like it. Another classic livery going on the wayside.

Agreed. They've lost the gray and gone all white, but no yellow? They should have kept the yellow, made the tail logo larger and perhaps applied billboard titles down the fuselage.

I think larger LH titles would have helped a great deal overall.

It's been a few weeks and Lufthansa has announced that it will be revising its new livery. Apparently, the blue is too dark, making the aircraft hard to identify in poor weather conditions. Whoopsies...

The blue will be lightened to correct the error. No word on the addition of any yellow. Doubt we'll see it added. Sad.

I didn't mind it at first, but when I saw a side-by-side comparison with the old one, it looked really plain.

I know what you mean. I am still not sure how I feel about the new colors. I think it would be better overall if the Lufthansa titles along the fuselage were larger. Not yet sure how/where to fit some yellow on the fuselage.

I know what you mean. Which do you see in Toronto? The 747-400 or -8i? Or both?

Here she is, the Revised or New New Lufthansa Livery. The blue is a shade or two lighter, and if I am correct, the tail logo appears larger than before. *See the video above and tell me if you agree with me regarding the logo.
