A Miami Air Boeing 737-800 operating a military charter flight has overrun a runway at NAS Jacksonville in northern Florida.

The chartered airliner was completing a flight from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and appeared to have overshot the runway and come to rest in shallow water along the St. Johns River. All 136 passengers, as well as the seven crew, have been accounted for.

Sadly, there are some high dollar K9s in the cargo hold which are unaccounted for at this time. I hope and pray they are okay!

Funny, I was thinking the same thing as all of you. Boeing has not had a good show of it recently. I believe this one will be pilot error as the weather was quite poor coupled with a rather odd request from the flight crew at the last minute.
