Same here! Maybe our route will be taking off sooner rather than later!

It would be a good thing for all parties. For Boeing, and for the airlines wanting and in some cases needing to fly their pricey investments.

EU authorities are on the way to Canada and will begin Max testing as early as 7 September. This is a promising move, in my opinion.

I love each model produced but the Air New Zealand B777 is spectacular.

Transport Canada has now finished test flights on the 737 MAX and will be analyzing results. A second round of test flights will begin September 7th from Vancouver.

That's an interesting date, as it's the same date that the EU will begin Max testing in Canada.

I wonder if Brazil will rubber stamp any results submitted by Canada, the EU, and US? Or will the do any independent testing?

******

Do you by chance have an Air Transat 737-8?

That's a good question, though I don't know nearly enough about Brazilian aviation to answer it.

And no, unfortunately no Air Transat models here.

-UPDATE-
  • The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has announced that direct flights between Canada and Mainland China will soon resume. In a related statement, Air China has revealed that its YNI route will, when it restarts, fly from the brand new Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) instead of the previous Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK).

No new cargo flights to YNI are planned right now. But there will be some new special heritage flights from the Transport Heritage Museum coming soon!
