I am still trying to figure out why they (Disney) spent two years building suspense as to who Snoke was only to end the whole thing the way they did. I agree with you, sir.

Some say that he isn't really dead. I say. . . . [tounge2]

Han Solo's gone.
Princess Leia's gone (real life).
Luke's gone.
Luke's lightsaber is gone.
R2-D2 pretty much out of the picture.
C-3PO pretty much out of the picture too.
Jedi's gone.

Disney is cleansing out anything OT.

Will JJ fix this, able to fix this, or Disney will not allow any fix?

I hope he can, but I fear that Disney has destroyed what we held dear for so many decades. As far as I am concerned, your list sums it up quite well.
Star Wars is no longer Star Wars.

Is the show still going? My favorite was Emeperor on the phone with Vader after the Deathstar destruction.

I've taken a much more positive view of TLJ than you have, but I gotta agree with some of the things ANA Mohican said. I mean, Snoke just dying? They have to at least briefly explain who he was in the next one.

Exactly! This has been one of the biggest gripes for me. As I have mentioned before, why spend so much time building this character up just to kill him off so easily?

Disney spent a great deal of time with Snoke. Here is what we know. He's powerful, saw the rise and fall of the empire, rescued the remnants of the empire from certain death and built them up to become the First Order. Surely, surely this can't be the end for him.

Maybe dead Snoke was a kagemusha.

George Lucas was a producer for Kurosawa Akira's film KAGEMUSHA.

I am just hoping they don't go the Darth Maul route and have him still be alive despite being cut in half. Here's hoping for more creativity than that.
