Hey guys, I thought i would share a few photos of this beautiful little 1:500 scale Thai Airways A350-900 model that my parents recently purchased for me. The colors are deep and the printing is sharp and crisp. There is a lot to like about this little 1:500 scale model.

This model was purchased on-board an A350 flight from Melbourne to Bangkok. It may also be available on the Thai Shop.

HS-THB named "Wichian Buri" was delivered to Thai Airways 30-8-2016. The aircraft is powered by x2 RR Trent XWB engines.

Aircraft Specs:

Length: 66.6m

Wing Span: 64.7m

Height: 17.0m

Maximum Taxi Weight: 268.90 Tons

Maximum Takeoff Weight: 268.00 Tons

Maximum Landing Weight: 205.00 Tons

I gather it is a Herp Wings. With Herpa hit and miss with quality this one looks like they nailed it.

I was wondering the same. What a little gem.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's a Herpa Wings, even though there is no mention of manufacturer on the box. I find it interesting how it says "Original aircraft model by Thai" on the box.

That is interesting, John. I am with you on this. I am guessing it's Herpa.

The Part No is 10025702. Apart from that it just says A350 Metal 1:500.

I guess this is not uncommon for Herpa to do. They do it all the time in 1:87 scale for BMW, Mercedes, Audi, MAN, Scania, and Volvo.

Ciao.
Wonderful model, Thai Airways has one of the most beautiful liveries of the sky.
RiseSoon (or Ever Rise) released three China Airlines A350-900's (two with the birds on the fuselage and one in the "Carbon Fibre" livery) but looking at the main landing gear and the wrong distance among the two wheels (too much distance among them) i am sure this model is from Herpa. It is beautifully detailed, especially the nose section.
