As far as I am aware, other than London, Orlando is the only city that you can see 4 to 5 plus Virgin 747-400s on the ground at one time. It's quite the sight.

Belfast - Orlando
Glasgow - Orlando
Manchester - Orlando

Oh wow. I'm guessing Miami Int would get most of the A380s. The Virgin 747s would be a beautiful sight, but i guess you have become rather bored of them??

When it comes to A380s here in Melbourne, we get Qantas, Emirates, Singapore, Qatar and Ethiad. If you were spotting here, you would think it were a mini Hong Kong at times. Especially with all the Asian carriers. We get them all here!

Yes, Miami does.

Never get tired of the 747-400, mate. Would like to see a few more 747-8i variants though. [biggrin]

Oh, I bet you do see a lot of Asian carriers. Speaking of which, which Asian carrier seems to have the biggest presence?

I greatly enjoyed all my A340-300 flights. Very comfortable aircraft to fly in. To be fair, I've always been in either business or first. So, that does probably skew the results just a bit. [tongue]

It would say either Singapore Airlines or Cathay Pacific.

We get China Eastern, China Southern, Royal Brunei, Scoot, Hainan Airlines, Malaysia, Philippine Airways, Thai, Singapore, JAL, Cathay, Vietnam Airways, Air China, China Airlines etc.

The number of 747's here is diminishing. We used to have a great number of 747's . Now we have Lufthansa with the 400 occasionally we do get the 8i on the route. The other 747 is with KLM and that is not consistent. Still a beauty to see when they do come in. We do get the occasional Kalitta , and Cathay Cargo 747- 8F

I do love the liveries of both CX and SQ. Must be so nice seeing those beauties daily.

The SQ livery is a classic. Can never get sick of that one. [thumb]

Indeed it is. I hope they never change it.

Same! I reckon there would be an almighty uproar if they did. If they ever do decide for a freshen up, they just need to do something subtle. Don't go all Thai Airways on us. [biggrin]

Agreed. Subtle is good. Not Thai for sure and perhaps not quite as much a Cathay, but close.

I guess the only thing they could really do is lose the cheat line. Only problem with that, it's the best looking part. [smile]

Agreed. One of the best cheatlines to ever grace an airliner to boot.
