After all these years of collecting, what model(s) are you surprised that we have yet to see?

I'll give you mine in photo form. Why, oh why has this not been done?

That L-1011 is a thing of beauty Ron.

I am going to have to say the Alitalia MD-82 in the standard 80's/90's livery. It was produced in the current livery, but never in the much loved former livery.

I do apologize if the model has been produced. I have been out of the game for a while and am not quite up to date with the releases. [thumb]

I can't believe I didn't think of this one. A good one, mate. Unless I too am mistaken, it's has yet to be done.

The AZ MD-80s were such a mainstay of virtually every major European airport. You would have been hard pressed not to see one someone in Europe. Definitely the workhorse of the Alitalia fleet in its day.

Well done, and what a nice trip down memory lane for me.

There was an MD-82 produced by Jet-X in 1:400 and that was the only one made in this scale.

Please do. I seem to recall that Dragon Wings had a pretty good MD-80 mould. Shame they didn't do it.

I'll have to search for that one. I had no idea.

Bottom one for sure. This was Alitalia for me. Oh, the memories. I've lost count of the number of MD-80, MD-11, and A321 AZ flights I have been on.

The Tel Aviv flight was on an A321. I am not sure if anything else operated the route at the time, but the A321 into and out of TLV was always enjoyable. To and from the US east coast was the responsibility of the venerable MD-11. Love that three-holer.

Yeah i have to agree Ron. You can't go past that classic livery. Did you fly Tel Aviv- Rome in the A321??

The AZ MD-11 was another beauty. Lucky for us, we had it produced by a few manufacturers.

Indeed I did take all the return flights on an AZ A321. It's one of my favorite airframes. And boy did she look good in that classic AZ livery, as did the MD-80s, and MD-11s.
